| A new vanda question. I have a vanda that I potted in December. It came as a bare root plant and so planted it as fast as I could into a pot with spaghnum moss. It had been looking fairly healthy until recently. The leaves are beginning to have that elephant skin/ leathery look and almost shrivally look. I have ordered some baskets that I will transplant into as soon as they arrive. I think I will use a medium bark mix when I do transplant it. Or would you stay with the spaghnum moss? I think I am not doing well with the spaghnum moss. Although it is very dry, I think the moss retains more fluid than I realize. Any thoughs or suggestions. Winterwhite |

| Vanda do not like their roots to be covered. They do much better with nothing. It is possible to grow them in pots, but easier in the air as long as you can give them enough sun and water.
