Scaphyglottis behrii

I have this Scaphyglottis, and a Scaphosepalum, and a few Spathoglottis. So I get the genera confused sometimes, even though they are unrelated (Scaphyglottis is related to Laelia, Scaphosepalum is related to Pleurothallis, and Spathoglottis is related to Phaius and Cymbidium).

Anyhow.

As you can see, it's pretty small, and non-resupinate. It currently has 6 blooms on it.

A 3/4s view, so you can get a bit of a sense of the flower shape. Focus is bad on this one.

Here it is with it's larger cousin (Bc. Groganiae), which isn't even a particularly huge Catt.

I am having an awful problem. I know the difference in the named plants, but they sent my Scaphyglottis as a Tetragamestus, a word I have never heard before. Then it is logged into my eleven page single line per plant listing and I can never find it in the list without going thru all 600 plants looking for this guy because I can't remember 'Tetragamestus', and it occurs just in front of 'Vanda' at the end of the list.

I would like to insert the picture of Tetragamestus modesta, but pbase seems to have a problem letting the picture show up. Cynthia

Wow, that's small. I would definitely miss those blooms! But it looks like the entire plant is small too, so that's a plus.

Your catt is very impressive. Still suprised it didn't win anything at the meeting, with all our catt lovers.
