Dennis, I see what you mean, the leaves are sort of pleated lengthwise. I have some Paphs like this too, about 4, all of them vini-color Maudiae types, like yours. I believe it could be the result of complex hybridizing. I have also seen similar phenomena in 4N Phrags. Most of my plants with the pleating are currently growing so I have been watching to see how the leaves come out. So far they look normal.

To summarize:
1) I don't think it is serious
2) It could be cultural from the previous owner or,
3) It could be related to being a complex hybrid

I'm giving regular Paph culture. I suggest you do the same and we'll se how it goes.

Hi Dennis - Sorry for being TOTALLY off the subject of this thread, but I noticed after I got home yesterday from our local orchid show that I photographed a plant that I liked that appears to be the same one you have at the end of your current posts! I didn't think to write the name down, but was impressed with the vibrant color combination....

it is a Dendrobium Oriental Smile 'Fantasy' AD/AOS i picked mine up at a local show oh yeah it also has a light fragrence kinda like fruit loops
