| I would just leave the keiki alone and treat the mother plant as you normally would. Once the roots on the keiki are about 3 inches long, you can break it off by gently twisting. Let it sit for a day or two so that the broken spot scars over and then pot it in the smallest pot that you can fit the roots into. If you don't want a second den of that type, put the keiki up for adoption on this forum, and I'm sure someone will take it off your hands. |
