den keiki question

Since its in the middle of winter, I have not been watering my den as often as i did in the summer. There is a keiki that just started to grow. Do I start watering more often or do I just continue watering as usual throughout the rest of the season? Also, should I fertilize now or wait until it grows more?

I would just leave the keiki alone and treat the mother plant as you normally would. Once the roots on the keiki are about 3 inches long, you can break it off by gently twisting. Let it sit for a day or two so that the broken spot scars over and then pot it in the smallest pot that you can fit the roots into. If you don't want a second den of that type, put the keiki up for adoption on this forum, and I'm sure someone will take it off your hands.
