Phals In Spike

I have two Phals, One with the name , Join Angel, It's the white Phal.

The other is a noid. Both have bloomed, the Join Angel 3 times. After it finished I cut the spike down to the base of the plant. Tonight I see I think two spikes growing at the second from bottom leaf.

What do you all think, is it a root or a spike coming? Also this Phal seems to have a peculiar spotting on the leaf. Both plants were in my growing area in the 60 degree basement when I just decided to bring them up for more warmth.

My noid, the pretty purple one is the one I posted on some while back when it started to grow florescences, is that the right word? Well, there is a keiki, right????. I also posted this one when it started to grow more florescences, sorry if that is the wrong word/spelling. (I am so exhausted)

The keiki seems to be taking the energy from the new growth as you can see the lowest florescence is skinny and the upper one is not developing. Also, look below at the base picture, just above that crazy root going askew is the beginning of a new spike, Yes?????

This is also the orchid you all advised me to repot cause of the brown roots inside the planter. Chicken me, did not do that yet. Now I don't want to jinx the whole operation.

I appreciate any advise, comments.

note:
I apologize for the confusion. Pic #1, 6, 8 are all the "Join Angel"

The rest are of the purple orchid, Phal noid.

Perhaps it's a bit early to tell but judging by the looks as of now it appears to be new roots, which is also a good sign!

Your close, just have to add the "in" !!! as in inflorescence and yes there most certainly is a keiki growing! And you are also correct that it will draw energy from the rest of the plant, if this is the plant that needed to be repotted I'd wonder if the reason for the keiki is continued root loss. Leaving the inflorescence on the plant that has already bloomed and has pre-existing root problems can strain the plant as it's focus turns from root development to survival. This of course is not always the case, many healthy plants also will produce a kieki from the inflorescence or the base of the plant naturally without dire consequence. The leaves of the plant look firm and healthy, which is also a good sign that root loss may be a t a minimal, as I also see green roots towards the top of the medium, also good sign! just too hard to say without sneaking a peek at them!

Glad to see you back!
Keep us posted!

Thanks Emmaye for the kind thoughts. I took the above photos to show how healthy the leaves are on this noid.

I was not going to repot tonight as K advised in a pm, but my curiosity got the best of me and did repot.

The medium was not all bark, some seemed like dirt. It was very loose around the roots and just fell off. I clipped all of the dead roots, managed not to harm the keiki, roots or the inflorescence. Then I gave a good water weak fertilizer. I think it smiled at me!

Repotted!
Just so I can shed a little light on my advise
The top layer of the medium appeared ok however the rest looked a bit aged and in need of repot.
Based on the kieki development and the visible green healthy roots along with good leaves if closely watched and watering monitored the plant could most likely wait until spring to repot. This would allow the kieki some additional time to develope should the plant become stressed during a repot now and possibly lose the kieki.
But when in doubt always go with the sure thing and keep the mother plant healthy!
