Water new growth?

I have this catestum with emerging new growth and wonder can any advice whether to continue water and fertilize it?

Jimmy,

when my Catasetums put out a new growth before going into dormancy, I stop watering and fertilizing it until the new growth is big enough, unless they are second flushes of growth during the summer growing season.

Start watering it again when the new little growth has roots around 1" long. At that point you should water a lot and fertilize quite heavily.
