I'm thinking of setting up lights but I want to build it myself. Does anyone have a suggestion on what kind of light is required...I have Phals.??
Thanks All!

Thank you for the info. There are a lot of good ideas out there.

I will say that I'm kind of sad that so many read my question and you were the only one to answer. Thank you for that!

Keep in mind...even "Guests" can look and that number is logged. Guests can not reply.

Also, one shouldn't assume that everyone looking has an answer.

Do a little research in the lighting forum and if you still have any questions...ask away.

I'm one of those who read and didn't reply...sorry! I grow my phals in a north window, so they're not under any lights at all. I didn't have any real advice for lights.

My phals are all on the top shelf (where it's a bit warmer) in two rows, and just today I realized that all the plants in the back row (and therefore closer to the window) are in spike, and all the ones in front are not. They coincidently are also the larger plants in spike and the smaller ones not. So today I rotated them with the smaller ones now by the window. This is a bit more awkward for me, but hey! We want blooms, right?
