Moving a blooming Phal?

I bought my first Phal yesterday with gorgeous blooms and numerous buds. The pot is almost 2 feet high in a 3 or 4'' root bound pot. The one spot I had was in my bedroom south window, where i have an older Phal _Den in bloom which likes the sun. Made sure the new Phal is at the extreme left where it won't get any sun. I noticed today that another bud has to begin opening, so far no bud blasts...keep my fingers crossed. But I have another window, a bright northern one where in the afternoon i get reflected light from the sun shinning on the building facing my window. I would like to put it there so I, and visitors can enjoy it too...don't like sending them to view it in my bedroom. LOL Any risks involved by doing this? FWIW, I uploaded a picture in the orchid gallery. Don't know if one can upload pics here in a thread.

Simple answer is YES...That is exactly what many do when their orchids are in bud/bloom, put them where they can enjoy them ...Afterwards, they place them back in their growing area...

Hello and welcome to the forum! You've already moved the plant once, bringing it home form the place you bought it, moving it again form one window to another wouldn't do much if any harm.
