Yamadara Sammie Evans

I purchased a Yamadara Sammie Evans during the Pacific Orchid Expo, but I'm having a hard time finding any information about it.

I know that this particular orchid is also called Amadara

Does anyone else own the same orchid or do you know where I can find some more information about it?

This is my 2nd orchid.

Thanks

I sent an e-mail to Montclair Orchids and they suggest growing "Sammie Evans" with Cattleyas. You can see a picture of the Orchid in bloom at their website.

I have not been able to see another picture anywhere else.

I too have similar questions about this one. If anyone has any information to offer, it would be very appreciated!

This orchid is an intergeneric plant which is a cross of Brassavola x Cattleya x Epidendrum x Laelia (which is what "Yamadara" stands for). So, to some extent it is going to need to be taken care of similarly to a mix of all of them. Looks like an interesting plant - let us know how yours grow and bloom in the future! mike
