Homemade fertiliser

Following the success of using cinnamon as a pesticide on my phals, I was just wondering whether there is a fertiliser I can make that will help my orchids flower? I'm not too keen on using chemicals as have an organic ethic.

...didn't someone post something about worm poop?

what about compost tea? (i know very little about either, i'm just throwing the subjects out there.) one of my local nurseries sells compost tea; someone near you might also.

Liquid seaweed is a great fertilizer. A vegetable product, it is not harsh to the plants. There has been much discussion about using organic fertilizers as they supposedly need soil in order to break them down, and orchids don't grow in soil.

Orchid126 is right, liquid seaweed is a great fertilizer. Fish emulsion is also good, but it stinks. I only use it outdoors. The following link of product has both fish and seaweed mixed together. After my sister's 10 years of organic gardening, I've decided that it's six of one and half dozen of the other!

Worm tea also sounds good, but haven't tried it myself.
