Mttsa. Dark Star --yellow leaves?

Hi everyone. I'm new---haven't even introduced myself yet! I'll get to that, but in the meantime, I've got a question. My Mttsa. Dark Star has yellowing leaves. Otherwise it is a healthy plant. It bloomed last year and now has new growths. The leaves on two of the psuedobulbs are yellow--from the bottom right to the tips. The psudeobubls still look healthy though. I'm confused--what to do! Should I cut the leaves off or leave them alone? When I repot (possibly this Spring) should I remove the psuedobulbs? There was a time when I know I was underwatering (pleated leaves). But, the yellow leaves are not the pleated ones. Thanks, guys, for any info. Liz

The old yellowing leaves will eventually drop off. The leaves on oncidum-type orchids have a natural break point just above the pseudobulb, so you will see the dead leaves separate at that point. The bottom part of the leaf will remain around the pseudobulb as a sheath. No need to remove anything at this time.

The leaves coming from the base of the bulb have a shorter life span than the ones coming off the top of the bulbs. Hope these are from the base. You don't want the plant left with less than 3 bulbs iin a row, and 4 might be better, with or with out leaves.
