Question How can I protect my orchid flowers from being eaten by wild birds?

Some wild birds are eating the flowers of my orchids including some leaves of my dendrobiums. I love to see the birds visit my garden but they are doing harm to my orchids... Any advices to protect my orchids?

G'Day Starfang

Welcome to the forum.

Now lets look at your problem logically
I think it all starts with the dog, he eats the bird seed so.. put him in a bird cage
The birds are eating the orchid flowers so feed them fertilizer
and feed the orchids dog food.

Cheers

They make various types of netting to keep birds off fruit trees, grapes, and other produce. I reckon it would be just as affective at keeping birds off orchids.
