Talking This Den really just wants to live!

I've posted this Den before, back when I got her. I knew most of the leaves were toast because it was a Lowes Den which was sitting in moss and water
I fugured, what the heck, it was on the clearance rack... and this is what she is doing for me now!

The day I bought her:

She has one leaf left, which I'm sure will fall before the week is out. There is a new spike with great healthy buds forming. The pbulb in the above pic that is blooming is actually a keiki from the top of the old pbulb, the old pbulb is dead at the bottom... however, both the old portion and the keiki portion are putting out new nubs, and I'm not quite sure what they are yet. It's life either way, so it's all good!

And these I took this morning:

(the last 2 pics, those nubs are only about 2" apart. The smallest one is about midway up the new pbulb)

This gives me hope.

I have a den phal same as yours, looked beautiful with nice white flowers when I bought it about 6 months ago and and since been left with only one leaf and no new growth.

I have been watering it sparingly in hopes that I will see new growth soon.

Very good growing! (on your end)

This is what mine looked like before and now
But its still alive so I am holding on and hoping for new growth this spring

Before I joined Geeks I never had any luck with Dens, but now I guess I've got them figured out; they seem to be fighters! Never give up!

They can look pretty pitiful at times. I've got a few.

Here's my pitiful rootless, Lowe's NOID Den, after 4 months.

Oh what's this on the other side? A new growth?

Can't wait. It did have beautiful purple flowers when I bought it.

I usually get one off the end of a previously bloomed stalk. I didn't even notice the first one until the growth was about 7 inches long. I guess it blended in with it's surroundings.
