trim the stem, and care for the plant as normal....a new 'fan' will develop, and you will get more blooms! dont let paphs completely dry out like other orchids....and now is a good time to repot if needed....

Don't trim if it's a sequential bloomer, though.

What kind of paph is it?

I don't think that one's a sequential bloomer.

I have one that is sorta similar to that one. When the flower dropped, I cut the stem back as far as I could and dabbed a little cinnamon on the cut end. Now the growths are taking off and hopefully I'll have another flower, some day.

You have what we call an Exhibition Paph, which is a kind of paph characterized by large round flowers with heavy waxy ro plastic-like substance. These are not sequential bloomers.

So what to do when the flower falls off?
1) I wait until the stem is dead and dried up then I cut it off
2) repot it - paphs should be repotted every year, usually in spring or after flowering.
3) give your paph excellent paph culture (Do you have a culture sheet for paphs?) and grow it on
4) be patient
