We have a couple of members with that one! It's a huge sucker, isn't it? I sure couldn't have one in my little rental house!

There have been a couple of threads here over the years about the largest orchid. It' depends on what your criteria are. Biggest flower? biggest plant? longest cane?

Wow, that would grow really well out here, except that you'd have to bring it inside for the winter. It would probably go nuts in the summer though.

I have one of those :P
However it is only a pseudobulb (well more like a sugar cane in appearance) about 60cm long, so it will take some years before blooming or getting large, i hope i will have a greenhouse by then since it will be difficult to keep it on the coffee table

Wow, Stelios, you are so brave!!!! I hope you are planning to have a HUGE greenhouse......
The plant for sale is not so big as you can see, just a size of the car tire. But they grow to the size of the house LOL......
Well, good luck with it. Let us know when it gets out of control..... We will all take one PB each of us to rescue you.................
