uni or bi ??

Ok..I was always under the impression that a bi-foliate plant produce bi foliate leaves, and the uni--produce the uni-foliate leaves. I have one Catt that has 3 different leads, 2 of which are uni foliate the other is bi. My other Bl's , Blc's,and Epi-catts are also doing the same thing..why is there a separation between the two if they are just going to grow however they want to? What caused this to happen? Is it in the genes.. have they been hybridized too many times , we can't tell anymore what's going to happen next?

Once you cross a bifoliate species with a uniforliate species, there isn't any reliable pattern any more. I also have some bifoliate species that occasionally only produce one leaf, probably from some failure in the production of one of the leaves. And it even seens to me that there has been a double leaf on a unifoliate Catt occasionally over the years. Nature is just not that reliable, and the hybrids should be view as Doctor Frankenstein's monster sometimes, we are messing with mother nature.

Wow..talk about freaks of nature. I wonder if what we're doing will have a negative impact one day...I know this also occurs in nature, but not at this rate.
