Repotting Bulbos

I have some Bulbos that are in need of repotting. They are currently in sphagnum moss that is starting to deteriorate badly and are in 4” baskets. They have 5-7 PBS each and starting to crawl out of the basket. This time of year I grow in doors under fluorescent lights. So my question is. 1. What is a good medium to use? 2. What type of pot and what size would you recommend?

I don't have one, but I want one, so I read all the posts on them. Apparently they really like the vanda baskets with a bit of sphag in them, they have shallow roots in general, so they like to spread sideways instead of down, so deep pots aren't so good.
When I finally get one, I will pot this way, but I've always wanted to try something in a vanda basket, lol.
If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will come around and correct me, like I said I haven't grown any, just studied them a bit.

I have a Bulbophyllum medusa , it is in sphag in a clay pot. The bottom half is filled with the hydroponic medium that looks like little brown pebbles.I let the moss dry in-between waterings.

I use either the vanda type basket or a net pot lined with sphag. For the deep net pot, I partially fill with p'nuts and then use a CHC mix for the media. Most bulbos walk all over the place and I like them to be able to attach to the sphag when they grow over the sides.

Good morning to you all. Thanks for your help. I am leaning towards a net pot or basket of some type. I will try the CHC,Spag and Tree fern mix. Sounds like it should work well.
I would try a mount, but I can never satisfy the watering needs. Always to dry.
Thanks

Rich
