root stimulator

I couldn't find Super Thrive in my area, instead I've seen a product labeled as ROOT STIMULATOR HORMONE for cuttings from house plants, made by Schultz. Orchids are not mentioned on the long list of recommendation.
My question is: Can I use it or, I'd better keep on searching for Super Thrive

Aniko.

Not sure, but Superthrive is available in all kinds of stores out here in rainy Oregon, including all the nationwide big box stores such as Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes and several other regional companies. If you continue to not be able to find any and still want some private message me your address and I'll try and send you some if you like. mike

OK, actually I wanted to know if the other stuff is something similar and good for my purpose. If that is also good, no reason to struggle to obtain the SuperT .But, as nobody encourage the replacement, I'll stuck to S..T.. Thanks for advise.

Your local orchid society may have super thrive available for purchase. Many orchid supply on line sites also often carry it.

These two products generally have different purposes. Rooting hormones are for a one time application to get a plant started rooting quickly. Superthrive is a stimulant that can be applied on a regular basis for improving general growth.

Aniko-

Be sure to keep the top of threads at the top of the bottle clean after each use. Use a paper towel to wipe off any excess. A buildup can occur sometimes (crystals) that keeps the bottle from being sealed tight. Also, I discovered you can't make a batch ahead of time but need to make and use it immediately. The results after a couple of days makes for a disgusting mess.

Doesn't it smell great (just kidding!)
