Culture for Bollea ecuadoriana x Pesc. lehmanii?

The parents have conflicting culture; one prefers cool; the other prefers warmer temps. The easiest thing for me would be to stick it in the middle of the zygos but I really want to see it bloom so I'm tempted to split the difference and grow it intermediate, which means inside pretty soon and in front of a fan.

Pros of outside: higher humidity, plenty of the air movement they need, good light, grow a lot of bollea crosses out there ...

Cons of outside: gets down to the mid 30s F winter months (about 2 months)

Pros of inside: constant warmer temperature, decent light

Cons of inside: airflow not as great as desired, even with fans; lower humidity

Any thoughts, comments, experiences?

I'd do what you're thinking of, growing it intermediate. See what happens and adjust accordingly. Sometimes when you cross a warm with a cool, the result is a plant that is tolerant of a wide variety of temps. That may be the case with yours too.
