I don't see how they'd hurt anything. Plus they're cute

Looks more like toads, in which case they may just be enjoying the shade of your leaves and the moisture in the pot. They may even keep the bugs away for you :P If they wanna be there the only way you could ever keep them out is by taking the flowers in....We use to have frogs in our pool and no matter what you did they always came back....cant figure out why they would want a chlorinated pool over the pond we put them in

They're harmless. In fact they may even be a benefit as they eat bugs and things like that.

Frogs

Hi I would defiantly leave them there, I have a few miniature green tree frogs in my orchid house and love them
Even visitors get a thrill out of seeing them.
the perhaps eat a few bugs but more likely enjoy the moist climate and enjoy or beautiful orchid flowers
Best of luck
Ron

Frog legs are yummy. Taste like chicken.

Frogs and or toads in the orchids or your garden is a good thing. They eat lots of nasty little bugs that could harm your plants. Just make sure to check your chids throughly before bringing them back inside.

My parents live in Key Largo which is just about an hour south of you. They get lots of frogs in all their plants.
The hanging plants on the balcony would be full of them.
We never saw any damage caused by them.
And at night they sing!
Well, kind of drawn out chirp.
But very cool to watch and listen to them at night.

i got almost one gekko per plant in my balcony taken as permanent residence... so i guess frogs are cool too!. they are harmless to the plants, they eat the bugs and lick the sap from them....

like anton said.. .all good!!

I have whole families of green frogs living in several of my orchids. At least 10 or more. Tiny frogs, been there for years. No problems. It may partially explain why I seldom have an infestation of anything.

You've got Cuban treefrogs in your orchids. Although they are the largest tree frog species in the US, they aren't native and were introduced from Cuba many years ago. They are very common in southern FL. They are harmless to the plants and are voracious predators of any bug that comes by during the night (they are nocturnal). I would consider them a benefit to the plants.

As long as they aren't those nasty, dog-killing Bufo toads... the more the merrier! I love seeing the frogs, lizards, and geckos around my plants, but the only toads I've seen since moving to southern FL are those horrible Bufo toads. YUK!!! You'd know the difference, by the way...the Bufos are huge...big like a Bullfrog. ugh. Eradicate!

I can't see how this would be a problem. I know dart frog people who plant mini orchids in their terrariums to make a really nice looking habit for the frogs. Later they get all excited about the orchids blooming

I've had a lovely leapord frog in my greehouse for 2 years till he moved on during the summer and always seem to have a couple of toads year round. They come out on sunny days during the winter and bask on the floor of the greenhouse. This morning while it was still pretty dark outside, one startled me as it jumped across the path in the greenhouse. I love them and I'm thinking they keep the slugs at bay.
