Phal Roots, what to do ?

My Phal has decided that after 3 months flowering it has had enough, I am more than pleased with that effort.

My question is, do I need to cut the old roots off, or just leave them ? (see images)

I don't think it needs repotting yet, but open to suggestions.

As you can see by the leaves it is very healthy and in a growth spurt, so I assume that is why it has decided that it's flowers HAVE TO GO to give enough energy for the leaves to grow.

I would leave the plant alone. When it is time to repot, you can clean out the old dead roots. Too much fussing usually ends in doing something bad accidentally. Cynthia

Thanks Cynthia, it is what I thought, but just wanted some assurance I was on the right track.
