At my house all the water is quite alkolin what type of soil does the soil need......Should I change the water before I give it too it? oh it is a Wilsonara

I would use it as long as there isn't too much salt or chlorine in there, or else just go out and grab some cheap bulk bottled water for it being that you are only concerned with watering one it wouldn't be too much of a hassle?

add some peat moss, it does lower the pH.
