I posted this a couple of days ago and it has dropped out of the "70 most recent posts" without getting an answer. I decided to bump it up and give it another try. Anyone have an answer for me?

My milt has some growing like yours and I figure it's just the way it's suppose to grow. I would leave it alone and just let it do it's thing as long it is healthy and not stressing the plant. This is an observation I have made that a lot of orchids send out ariel roots and it's just part of their nature. Odontoglossum and Miltonia Care

I would just leave it. Its probably connected to the rest of the plant under the mix somewhere.

Thanks sunshine. This is the first of these that I have so I just wanted to be sure I took proper care of it. I believe that this variety likes bright light and moderate temps. I think it also like to be kept moist. This is one of the first orchids I have bought that wasn't in bloom so I can't wait to see it bloom. I sure don't want to let it die before that. LOL
