Unhappy Yellow leaves

My phal started a new leaf about three weeks ago, and I was excited, it may sound insignificant but its the first "growth" ive noticed since I cut off my spike (became dry and brownish grey in color). Yesterday when watering, I noticed that one of the bottom leaves turned yellow. Should I be concerned or is this a natural process? Am I overwatering it? I water every saturday and feed every other saturday is that too much.

Thank you for your time. V

Well, how many leaves do you have now? Phals naturally lose a leaf or two every year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Phals on average maintain the average of 5 leaves at a time? You said your orchid is growing a new leaf, which makes me think this is what's happening.

Hello

Take a look on the roots.
The Phalaenopsis like to grow in ambient with damp air.
The roots don't like to be wet for a long time. If this occur, the roots rot and die. So, the leaves to be yellow and to fall.

Another important thing to know is that when you watering the Phalaenopsis, don't leave water standstill between the leaves.

Well, sorry for my english but I'm learning and I expect that you're understand me.

Lots of love,

I had this on one of mine - turned out I was watering it too much. As soon as I cut back and ensured the drainage was excellent, the leaves recovered. If in doubt, blame the watering!
