What to do with this

Cheers, I have a Dendrobium Phal Type that I rescued a few months ago.
Now it has formed keiki's with about 4-5 roots but the keiki itself is not fully
developed yet.

What do you think should I do? should I cut it now or wait, also notice that
there is also a new growth coming.

Thanks

I'd leave the kiki where it is, allow it to develop. I'm sure it's receiving some nutrient from the old psudobulb. Treat the kiki as you would a mounted plant, being sure to wet the roots until they turn green on each watering.

I don't think the keiki is big enough to support itself yet. I think it needs to be bigger with more roots. I'd leave it until the keiki has at least one fully matured cane and at least 3-4 roots that are at least 1 inch long.

thanks for the replies, my plan was to just leave it on the cane however, the lower part
of the old cane is starting to turn yellow (i dont think you can see it from the picture)
thats why I ask on what to do with it.

Leaving it on the cane is the majority so i'll leave it on there till it has developed good leaves.

thanks
