Nobile Den keikis?

So yesterday i went to the Green Thumb Festival in St Pete, FL (which was awesome!) and one of things I bought was a a nobile den from Jerry Meolas booth with two keikis on it! Im excited as I have never had a keiki before (but I do think i have one just starting on my phal-type den). Anyways, i have read all about where and when ti cut the babies off, but once you remove them what is the best way to pot them up? I would think they would require a little bit more moisture than a large plant, so would sphag in a net pot work? or i dunno.... any ideas please???

i got a keiki off a den Merlin a couple yrs ago; it was a big keiki, with a couple of canes and pretty good roots; i just put it in lava rock in a clay pot, the way the rest of my dens are potted. it's working on its fifth cane and has just finished blooming for the 2d time.

you might want to wait til your keikis are big enough so they don't need special care when you remove them.

I would wait a bit, also. We have very different growing conditions, but I put mine in a bark mix with a little chopped sphgnum added. They don't like to wiggle in the pot, so you can get it a little snug. Good luck!
