Question no leaves

I was given a phal with no leaves. I cut off all the rotten roots repotted and now it's sending out new roots that look good. Is there anything else I can do?

Patience grasshopper lol. New roots are a good sign. Good culture, and wait for it to start producing a new crown. Good Luck.

There is no way to know for sure. You can keep what's left of the plant, and give it good culture, it may or may not regrow. If the roots are alive, the plant still has a chance.

My notion is that roots are the most important and leaves are second. For orchids it seems that a plant with good roots but bad leaves is more likely to survive than a plant with good leaves and no roots. I think this is because most orchids are able to store enough nutrients to get them through a tough time. In this respect I think you are in relatively good shape.

It will make the plant that much more of a triumph when it blooms for you in a few years.
