Cyms at Sams club

Hello,
I went into Sams today to see if they had any orchids in there and low and behold there were some HUGE Cyms in there. They were 30.00 and big! I do not know anything about cyms so I did not even think about buying one, but they were in bloom and pretty all. Upon close inpection I was not crazy about the looks of some of the plants looked rather sickly. Tara

Costco was bringing them in and they looked good and healthy when new. They were about $22.00.

Are they named? $30 seems a little "high-end" for a noid. Maybe it's just me though.

The ones in Costco were noids. But they were really big. I noticed a couple of smaller ones in Home Depot for 26.00.

If they were so pricey I might nab one, but not so sure how they would do in Wisconsin. Might do a little research, but I find phals less of a stress ) Tara

I bought 3 at Costco in Nov. They were really nice ones. They ranged in price from $14.00 to $19.00. They were all in bloom. 2 had 3 spikes and 1 had 2 spikes. I gave one away to the nurses at the hospital that took care of me after my surgery and the other two are quite happy on my patio. Getting all kinds of new growth. They were NOIDs. I think $30.00 for a NOID is kind of pricey.
