That Onc. took a while to bloom. That one spike took FOREVER to develop. Then spring (which is more like summer for us, LOL) came and it just took off.

I have a Sharry Baby spike that is just continuing to grow and branch...I am getting really impatient, and also really wondering how darned long it's going to get! It's about 3' right now. with no sign of being ready to open up yet! So thanks for the picture of what is coming - maybe I'll show it to mine to remind it there is a purpose in what it is doing right now!

Oh trust me, you have a long ways to go. 3 inches is nothing. Remember because of our climate zones a different bloom time. It'll get there...I know I waited months.

Your sharry baby is very pretty!

I have one in bloom right now, but it is about half the size of yours!

I have an idea. Tape it to your nose. LOL!!! Just kidding. I love the smell too. My bud shriveled up so I'm hoping to get another one this season.

Love the Sherry baby. Look at all the blooms on it. Nice job!

Sharry baby is my favorite orchid, I could fill my living room with them and swim in the smell! Unfortunately, mine's not doing so well at the moment, but I orderedd another one to help cheer her up. I also just ordered a coconut orchid, shipping in bloom, I can't wait!
Congratulations, I'm so happy for you! Do you hang outside all day sniffing back and forth between those luscious orchids?
