Question Oncidium Onustum

Hi everyone-

I just got a potted Oncidium Onustum, and thought maybe it would do better mounted,as I heard they grow on cactus in the wild. What's everyone's opinion this?

Are you growing in the home or a greenhouse? Are you already doing well with mounted plants? If the answer to the second question is yes, go ahead and mount it, but I would wait for the flush of new roots from the latest growth before making the change, as the old roots will probably die when the change is made. If you are growing in the home and don't have experience yet with mounties, don't change the plant. Cynthia
