| I think Restrpia muscifera is preggerz!!!! ![]() I have no idea who the pollinator was or which plant the pollen came from. Does any body know how long till they are ripened? What should I do?! OMG i am freaking out! This is crazy I moved out and left the plants behind for two weeks and picked them up yesterday. The poor thing drove 50 miles in the car scrunched in a box with the other chids and I put together the new shelf and just plopped it on there. I bought a pressure sprayer pumpy thing and I had just finished watering and set the fan up and was gonna move it up to the next shelf and thats when I saw it! I screamed and I thought I was gonna die. The only person I could think to contact is Erich Micheals. Please please please does anybody now anything about the pods on these things or anyone who would be a good person to contact about it?!?! I am about to fall over and faint ![]() ![]() ![]() I be back in a few minutes to post the picture have to put a little guy into his bed lol!

Unless you plant to do something with the pod or are just curious to see how it develops, I might cut it off. Going to seed requires quite a lot of energy and it may set your plant back a little.

It's a pretty good sized chunk of Restrepia so it may do ok. Any suggestions on maybe whether or not I should feed or fertilize.

Kortney according to OrchidWiz, green pod harvest is 85-95 days. Don't change the feeding and watering routine. It takes a lot of energy to produce a seed pod. Brooke |

Oh Brooke thanks so much! Well since I'm not sure when it happened i'll have to be careful towards the end but now I know when to watch out for lol! Benetay, I really can't take full credit, I'll give to the gnat or whatever it was that pollinated it lol!
