I use 1-2 drops per gallon each time I fertilize my orchids (about once every two weeks) and there has been no ill effects. I also use Superthrive for all my dirt farming plants as well, seedlings and adults. My tomatoes really seem to like it.

Honestly I have heard only one drop and then I heard that any more can possibly damage blooms. I truthfully use about as much as you do. Actually maybe more. I don't really measure. I have a spray bottle that holds about 20 oz of water. I'm guesstimating I use .1 ml (I have a 1ml syringe and I just draw the stuff up and squirt it in. I don't really measure.

Ok, by my own experience. It does damage blooms. At least it does to some plants. Specifically i noticed it (thanks to continuous blooming), in my miltoniopsis roezlli. It had a lot of bud blasts, burned and deformed flowers. I just stopped applying (while getting a new bottle, remember i live in panama and i have to send for it), and in a matter of just a couple of weeks it started to go better. It did affect other plants but i can't make specific descriptions of it. I once read in some other thread that it could have negative effects and so it did, so i just stopped using it completely. I know there is people that swear by it. And of course for some is perfect and works well, but it just didn't work that great for me. About the formula, there is another thread in this forum, thanks to a member (which worked as a chemist or lab specialist) in which she mentioned all it contained. Including the fact that there was a large portion of vitamin b (don't know which one). manuel panama |

I know it has vitamins in it. It smells just like the Poly Vi Sol that I used to put in my daughters formula. She is 56 now but it is a smell that you don't forget. LOL
