That is one monster orchid! I can't imagine what it would be valued at.

I enjoyed that video very much. I will have to send this to my daughter in law who is a professor of music for Va. Tech. She travels a lot for the university and hits N.Y. frequently. She also has a love of flowers. I gave her orchids for her b-day this year and my son also. I think I passed along the geek gene.

yep yep. i've got a ton of plants that need repotting soon, and i whine about every one of them. at least i didn't need a set of ropes and a sawz-all for mine.....yikes!

Wow, that was really interesting to watch! When I first looked at it, it didn't seem that big, but once they were lowering it the float, holy mackerel! Thatza big orchid!

I dont have a sound card in my comp at work so I dont know what he was saying but it looked easy. lol. As far as their blooming issues, a few banks of T-5's should do the trick.
