| You need to see when the pots dry out. It will be different for everyboby. You may be able to tell from the weight of the pots. Dendrobiums should be watered before they dryout completely while they are growing. Once the last leaves of the new growth are completed, and the plant is not blooming, cut back on the watering. The plants need to start drying out before being waterings. During the depths of winter, water them even less, let them go a week dry before watering. This should cover all the hybrids sold at regular retail locations. There is a very small percentage of Den species that should not be allowed to dry out.
