Dyed Spanish Moss

Will the dyed spanish moss I used around the base of my path. spicerianum
cause damage if I mist it to help with humidity? It's just in the basket, and not really over the plants soil.

Its tough to know what it has been dyed with. If it were un-dyed I'd say no worries, but I'm skeptical and (perhaps overly) cautious about a lot of decorative things like this because I don't know what's in there (besides the moss). If it were my plant I'd err on the side of caution and not use the dyed moss.

Thanks for the quick response . I'm removing it now, it doesn't look that great anyway. And I would rather take no unnecessary chances.

Hi Jimmy, The paph in my avatar pic is Paph Rory Jones 'Kevin's First' AM/AOS. If yours looks a little like mine and the tag says Paph Raisin Pie 'Hsinying' (note capitalization and punctuation) I think your tag is probably correct. Both Rory Jones and Raisin Pie are complex Mautiae-type hybrids many of which have similar features.
