| Cactus seeds in Orchid Germinating Media Anybody knows or experienced sowing cactus seeds in orchid germinating media instead in soil germinating medium for cactus. Is it possible to do that? Please tell me.      |

| Two days without a reply, so it seems that no one has tried it. I wonder why you want to try as you can sow cactus seeds into sand easily and cheaply. I do not see any advantage in an orchid potting mix. If you meant the algum solution they use for starting orchid seeds I do not think that would work for cactus seeds too moist and too much food, but really do not know.
