...Need Help Identifying Orchids Please...

I'm brand new here and I don't want to mess with the way things are done.

I have to say right off the bat that I know absolutely nothing about Orchids. I'm a professional photographer based here in NYC. I love it every year when the Orchid Show comes to Rockefeller Center and I get to shoot some more photos. (Well, I enjoy until '07 but I'm sure you've all talked about that.)

I'm here because I'm looking for the names of the Orchids that I have here:

AnthonyCollinsPhoto.com/Orchid

Now I know that I'm new here and I haven't contributed in any way to the site. So if there's anything that I do in return please let me know.

Thank you so much!

Anthony

Anthony! It's hard to do an exact ID on plants by appearance since there are thousands of hybrids, and many that look similar.

I agree with dampenthelights, some it is hard to tell whether they are Phals or Doritaenopsis, they are very similar.
Number 3 is a Zyg and 5 could be a Vanda or Ascocenda, more likely Vanda.

Do you have images of the full plants ?

Usually this can help identify some species, but judging by the lips on the last 5 they appear to be Phals.

It's a phal to be sure but no way to be certain it's the cross indicated above, just too many different hybrids and such variety within different crosses. You can have 2 completely different crosses look nearly identical or have 2 orchids that are the same cross look completely different.
