At first, I thought you had two different plants in one pot. Looking closer, I see one of the wider leaves on the same growth as the narrower leaves. I think that it was moved at one point in it's growing cycle. It looks like a big environment change, and that would probably affect the growth pattern. Take good care of it, and I'm sure she'll keep rewarding you with those beautiful blooms! This is just an opinion. I only have a handful of Paphs. Kevin???

I have a few paphs hat have grown similar leaves, one of them, a exhibition-type paph has nearly all of their leaves like that. I believe it could be caused by a couple of different things: 1) genetics - I see this type of leaf in the more complex hybrids from time to time and as I said above I have one complex hybrid with all of its leaves like that; 2) some kind of cultural shock or condition - I have some paphs that either had a leaf like that as the last leaf it grew or grew a leaf like that as the first one it grew when I got it, which proceeded ot grow normal leaves after that.

Either way, and as you can see from the pics above, these odd leaves don't seem to be symptomatic of a condition that prevents the plant from continuing to grow and flower so I have never felt compelled to identify the precise cause. My current thinking is that it is most likely a harmless genetic quirk.

I agree with Kevin and Patti! This has happened to some of the phals I have before I had bought them. That paph is beautiful, do the name on a tag with it? I have some pictures I took at an orchid show that look almost just like it that won awards!
This one in the first picture looks like it has an "odd" leaf on it. I'm not sure if these are the same type of paphs or not. The second doesn't look it has that wierd leaf thing. I don't think it is anything to worry about

edit: on second look these are not the same, the dorsal sepals have a white edge on these picture but they are similar looking.

Kortney, Sorry, I don't know its name as it doesn't come with a tag.
