waterfall droplets on orchid

I am new to orchids. customer gave me cymbidium. I transplanted offshoot and it is growing. another offshoot is now growing. Now I have family.
I just bought indoor waterfall for my office to keep my orchids close by and humid. Do I let drops from waterfall go on leaves?

not a good idea. nearby, but not too close. you want to make sure the leaves stay dry most of the time, otherwise the constant wetness can lead to rot and other diseases. out in the wild in most environments the plant would get a drench from the rain, and then be able to dry out. (or get mist in the morning or evening, and be able to dry out.)

Standard Cymbidiums take a lot of light. Is there enough light in your office to make you almost uncomfortable? That's about what it takes for these to grow and bloom. Less light, they will grow but not bloom, AND they will be weak and prone to desease. Some of the small Chinese Cymbidiums take less light. Good luck. Cynthia, Prescott, AZ

i was worried it was too much filtered light so I guess that part is ok. good point about rot and diseases. I'll turn waterfall off at night when I leave.
