picture 3 look ok. Picture 2 look fine too. Just wait... If it turn yellow what can you do? nonthing. mourn do not, sad do not, Be happy that the other two is doing fine.

Digital - you crack me up Yoda! It may blast, but at this point in time there is nothing you can do for a bud that is already yellowing. Try to maintain conditions to prevent the others from blasting. Was the plant recently moved to that room? The temperature spike, with low humidity, could have blasted the bud. Bud blast gets everyone at one time or another.

This past spring I had a Home Depot noid white Phal. that kept blasting buds one after the other, I kept thinking the next one would make it... I finally got frustrated and cut the spike off... I hope yours doesn't drive you crazy like mine did to me

Thanks every one. The phal is my first one that reblooms. The phal has been in the living room since. Occasionally I move it a east facing window. Now I may move it to my kitchen for a short time as new buds develop. The living become really hot when afternoon Sun strikes.

| I hope it isn't bud blast, but at the very least, the plant is still doing ok. As pretty as spikes and flowers are, I suppose they are secondary to the overall health of the plant.

Is the air conditioning on? It may be drying the buds out. I found that misting the air above the buds and letting the mist drift down onto them helped. Once or twice a day should do it.

I had buds blasting during the winter here in my city, because the humidity is very, very low this time of the year, it gets around 15-25%, is really hard to keep plants moist, some of them I have to water everyday, even the ones in coconut fiber....My Phals only bloom when I use plastic pots, clay pots result in bud blast... Hope it helps!!!!

Hi all, Thanks for your replies. Here in S.F we don't a/c as temperature is cool all year long. The hottest day may reach 70s. It usually gets hot for a few days and fog moves in to cool off. My living room facing west gets a lot Sunlight in the afternoon and it can heat up by 10 to 15 degrees(to 70s). Humidity is high as it near the Pacific ocean. My local humidity now measured as 58%. The range is from 50% to 80%. I think the Sunlight shine through window's blind is too hot for the Phal in spikes. I'll move the plant 4 feet away from the windows.
