| hi, i am extremely new to growing orchids, but i have found a tiny seed on one of mine and i want to know if its possible to grow an orchid from it. and how should i go about it? |

| The seed is probably from something else. Orchid seeds are like fine dust with a single seed pod producing 10s of thousands of seeds. Seeds have to be grown in a sterile condition. There is a current thread about home flasking (the term for starting seeds in sterile laboratory flasks) if you want to learn more.
