The seed is probably from something else. Orchid seeds are like fine dust with a single seed pod producing 10s of thousands of seeds.

Seeds have to be grown in a sterile condition.

There is a current thread about home flasking (the term for starting seeds in sterile laboratory flasks) if you want to learn more.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

What kind of orchid do you have? Do you have many of them?

Seeds take very special and sterile environments to germinate and grow. Probably not a seed as mentioned by Jerry.
