can anyone tell me how the lillian ramsdell orchid got it's name? also where can i get plants? d ramsdell

It's a masdevallia...amabilis x patriciana. Lynn O'Shaunessey made the cros. You can get in contact with her through the website Pleurothallids.com

If, however, you are an inexperienced grower, I would hesitate to start with masdevallias. Unless you live somewhere conducive to their culture, like the Pacific Northwest, or you know, COlumbia. LOL
