| Mystery Growth continues Greetings everyone... Our mystery growth continues to emerge this morning from our previously neglected/now pampered Phalaenopsis orchid (correction... dendrobium orchid, with much thanks to Janet). My wife is certain that it's a new spike appearing. I want to agree but am afraid that I may jinx it and then it will turn out to be some kind of leftover Katrina fungus... Here is another photo just moments old... If anyone can shed some light on the mystery growth... maybe I can calm down Mystery Growth.jpg new keiki.jpg Last edited by Robert, New Orleans; 07-04-2006 at 11:49 AM. |

| I mentioned on your other thread that dens usually flower first in the spring and grow and form keikis now. Expect flowers in late fall or spring.
