where can i get a light for my orchids?

i just wanted to know where i might get a light for them and what type i should buy?

Hydroponic stores carry them.
In my opinion, the light you choose depends on how much natural light the orchids will get.
Opinions vary.....I'll wait for the experts to jump in.

I purchased my grow lights at Home Depot....I bought the actual "fixture" which takes 2 "tube" lights...it's a shop light fixture...I paid about 20.00 odd dollars for the actual fixture and the bulbs were about 8 odd dollars...I actually bought the 2nd set of grow lights at "Wal-Mart"

If you hang the fixtue using chain, you can then adjust the fixture's distance from the plants, moving it up as they grow. Lowe's and Home Depot have a wide variety of fixtures and grow lights as well as chain.

I was talking about HID lights

i think you can buy metal halide lamps. note that they are costly. but i am not sure whether they are suitable, cos i am using it for bonsai
