Smile Sedirea Japonica

Well, I was just browsing, looking at orchids, and I found Sedirea Japonica. And it is the prettiest little orchid. Anyone here ever grown this one? If so, does it like the same conditions as Phalaenopsis? I don't have a lot of room, and it seems that this orchid stays small.

I have one, and love it. I have had it with my Phals and it seems to grow very well. These can also be mounted. Do a search on the forum for Sedirea japonica and you should find several threads on this cute little orchid.

yu[, I love it!

I have one! I love it soooo much and it smells sooooo good when its in bloom! They are pretty compact growers when you only have plant. When I originally bought it had an issue that turned out to be a slug but the grower replaced it. So I got a brand new one, These like good airflow too. You can go to Sedirea japonica to see the culture info. And yes it is pretty much same conditions as a phal. That was one of the many reasons I bought it. The grower assured me that it would be a good fit for my environment. I've had the replacement one since the beginning of April. Also if you go to the top and do a search for sedieria japonica you find a whole bunch of threads about them and our experiences with them. Here is a picture of mine as of today:

I believe many of us on the forum has it. I recently got one too and is mounted on cork. Just the description of the scent will tempt you to get it. So far it seems very happy and grows well. I'm new to orchids and even with my inexperience it it thriving. I attached a pic. of mine too. Hope you get it.

Thanks Kortney but I can't take the credit. It came that way. The roots have gotten longer now though.
