Question Spike or new grow

Hi everyone.........
Please any one help me to identify this. Is this a new spike or keiki? This is my first den that showing some thing for me since I brought it. Thank you.

I'm guessing new growth. I'm new to all this so I'm no expert. Just a shot in the dark. I hope I'm wrong though so you can get blooms. Lets see what everyone else thinks.

It is definitely a keiki, as new growth only comes from the rhizome at the base of the plant in Dens and also it has leaves whereas a spike doesn't.

It's a spike. Notice that the small bracts around the base are the same as the dried up bracts on the spent inflorescence. If it were a keiki it would be fatter and have small leaves.

I was thinking keiki too until kmarch pointed that out, and now that I look at it again I think your right kmarch!
