Phading Paph Phlower - Off With Its Head?

I have a hybrid paphiopedilum (Paph Pinocchio 'Otonio' x Paph Wellesleyanum 'Raisinette') with one fading bloom, one opening bud and what looks to be a developing bud. Do I snip off the spent bloom, and if so, where?

Pics: orchid at time of purchase; two views of opening bud and new(?) bud

Nice Paph!!! When it gets a little raggedy, i would snip it just above where it meets the main stalk. This will give energy to the next blooms in line. Make sure you don't snip the next buds, too!

Thanks! The spent bloom is looking pretty sad, so it may go tonight.

the bloom will fall off, and then the new bud will flower, I wouldnt bother to cut anything, the tricky thing with paph spikes is that the section behind the flower is the seed pod, and so you would need to detatch it at the join to the main spike and theres a chance it may damage the spike.

Paph flowers will fall off quickly after they go droopy.
