| Just a few questions! Hello everyone Ive got a few simple questions I was given a new orchid today to replace one that suddenly died on me. The bottom 2 leaves are very limp and wrinkly but the top ones are firm and healthy. To me it looks as if it has been starved of water as the roots and bark are very dry. Am i right and what care should i give it? My second question is about an orchid i brought for £1.99 a couple of months ago, it was slightly water logged when i brought it but is now growing a new leaf. The only thing is that the flowers are only lasting 2 or 3 days. Should i forget about the flower spike and let it concentrate on putting down new roots?      |
