| Erythrophobia??? I put all but my phals outdoors a little over a week ago and many of the catts and dends are getting significantly RED leaves. I had them under shadecloth for the first 5-6 days and since have removed it. Is this a sign that they are getting too much light/sun? As long as they are not getting sunburn (brown/black) is this going to be a problem? They are on the east side of my house and only get sun till just before noon. Thanks - mike |

| Red leaves is like out suntan. You are reaching the limit of what they can take. Kept in mind that orchids like the maximum sun they can take without burning. Burning will show itself as a browning of part f the leaf. This is the Chlorophyll in the leaves dying. Burn seldom kills a plant but does not look very good. If you see some burning move it to a slightly lower light.
