The only thing I have seen turn an entire plant yellow as you describe is excess light/sun. (?) If all the leaves fall off it is theoretically possible that the plant could send up a basal keiki and thereby get a new lease on life, but I wouldn't count on that - it depends upon how much health is in the root system. Even if this were to happen it will literally be several years until you could potentially turn this around to a healthy viable blooming plant. As inexpensive as they are now days, unless you have some emotional attachment it would be a lot more satisfying to get another blooming plant and at the first sign of any issues at all start "working" with the group here before it should decline to this extent.

That was my first thought so i moved it into a much darker area. It has 3 flower spikes, two of which are yellow but the other one is still in full flower. It wasnt the most expensive one that i have but its flowers are a lovely limey green colour which i havent seen in shops before. I'll have to see what happens to it and hope for the best

The same thing happened to one of my phals. I think yellow leaves (chlorosis) mean lack of magnesium, but I'm not sure... Anyway, my phal started to rot from the inside (in the crown), that's what caused leaves dropping.
